Title 10, United States Code, is amended as follows: Section 483 is repealed. The table of sections at the beginning of chapter 23 is amended by striking the item relating to section 483. Section 2216 is amended— by striking subsection (i); and by redesignating subsections
(j)and
(k)as subsections
(i)and (j), respectively. Section 2885(a)(3) is amended by striking If a project and inserting In the case of a project for new construction, if the project . Section 903(b)(5) of the Duncan Hunter National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2009 ( Public Law 110–417 ; 10 U.S.C. 2228 note), as amended by section 334, is further amended by striking subparagraph (A), as designated by such section, and inserting the following new subparagraph (A): Not later than December 31 of each year, the corrosion control and prevention executive of a military department shall submit to the Secretary of Defense a report containing recommendations pertaining to the corrosion control and prevention program of the military department. Such report shall include recommendations for the funding levels necessary for the executive to carry out the duties of the executive under this section. . The National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2008 ( Public Law 110–181 ) is amended as follows: Section 1074(b)(6) ( 10 U.S.C. 113 note) is amended— in subparagraph (A), by striking The Secretary and inserting Except as provided in subparagraph (D), the Secretary ; and by adding at the end the following new subparagraph: Subparagraph
(A)does not apply to determinations made with respect to the following individuals: An individual described in paragraph (2)(C) who is otherwise sponsored by the Secretary of Defense, the Deputy Secretary of Defense, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, or the Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. An individual described in paragraph (2)(E). . Section 2864 ( 10 U.S.C. 2911 note) is repealed. Section 226 of the John Warner National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2007 ( Public Law 109–364 ; 120 Stat. 2131) is repealed.
