Section 2 of the Pay Our Military Act ( Public Law 113–39 ) is amended— in subsection (a)— in paragraph (1), by inserting (including those specified in after section 51311(b) of title 46, United States Code) reserve components thereof ; and in paragraph (2)— by striking (and the Department and inserting (the Department ; by inserting and the Department of Transportation in the case of the United States Merchant Marine Academy after Coast Guard ; and by inserting or those in training for such service before the semicolon; and in subsection (b)— in paragraph (1), by striking and at the end; in paragraph (2), by striking the period at the end and inserting ; and ; and by adding at the end the following: the Secretary of Transportation with respect to matters concerning the United States Merchant Marine Academy. .
The amendments made by subsection
(a)shall take effect as if enacted as part of the Pay Our Military Act ( Public Law 113–39 ).
