Section 5581 is amended— in paragraph (1), by striking and at the end; in paragraph (2), by striking by Federal statute. at the end and inserting by Federal statute; and ; and by adding at the end the following: surviving partner has the meaning given it by sections 8341 and 8441, respectively. . Section 5582(b) is amended by inserting (or surviving partner) after widow or widower .
