Section 7002(c) of the Water Resources Development Act of 2007 (121 Stat. 1271) is amended by inserting , or the plan entitled before the period at the end. Louisiana Comprehensive Master Plan for a Sustainable Coast prepared by the State of Louisiana and accepted by the Louisiana Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority (including any subsequent amendments or revisions) In this subsection: The term annual report has the meaning given the term in section 7001(f). The terms feasibility report and feasibility study have the meanings given those terms in section 7001(f).
The Secretary shall— review the plan entitled ‘Louisiana’s Comprehensive Master Plan for a Sustainable Coast’ prepared by the State of Louisiana and accepted by the Louisiana Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority Board (including any subsequent amendments or revisions); and in consultation with the State of Louisiana, identify and conduct feasibility studies for up to 10 projects included in the plan described in subparagraph (A). The Secretary shall include in the subsequent annual report, in accordance with section 7001— any proposed feasibility study initiated under paragraph (2)(B); and any feasibility report for a project identified under paragraph (2)(B).
Section 7008 of the Water Resources Development Act of 2007 (121 Stat. 1278) shall not apply to any feasibility study carried out under this subsection. Section 7006(a)(2) of the Water Resources Development Act of 2007 (121 Stat. 1274) is amended— by redesignating subparagraphs
(C)and
(D)as subparagraphs
(D)and (E), respectively; and by inserting after subparagraph
(B)the following: to examine a systemwide approach to coastal sustainability; .
