Section 203 of the Water Resources Development Act of 2000 ( 33 U.S.C. 2269 ) is amended— in subsection (d)(1)(B)— by striking The ability and inserting the following: The ability ; and by adding at the end the following: Not later than 180 days after the date of enactment of this clause, the Secretary shall issue guidance on the procedures described in clause (i). ; and by striking subsection
(e)and inserting the following: The Secretary is authorized to carry out activities under this section for fiscal years 2015 through 2024. . The Secretary may enter into a cooperative agreement with an Indian tribe (or a designated representative of an Indian tribe) to carry out authorized activities of the Corps of Engineers to protect fish, wildlife, water quality, and cultural resources.
