Section 311(a)(2)(C) of the Runaway and Homeless Youth Act ( 42 U.S.C. 5711(a)(2)(C) ) is amended— in clause
(iii)by striking and at the end; in clause
(iv)by striking the period at the end and inserting a semicolon; and by adding at the end the following: family assessment, intervention, and reunification services for families of sexual and gender minority youth; and providing resources for families of sexual and gender minority youth who may be struggling with understanding or accepting the sexual orientation or gender identity or expression of the individual. .
