Title VII of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act of 1978 ( 50 U.S.C. 1801 et seq. ), as amended by section 3 of this Act, is further amended to read as follows: Notwithstanding any other provision of this Act, no information relating to a United States person may be acquired pursuant to this Act without a valid warrant based on probable cause. . The table of contents in the first section of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act of 1978 ( 50 U.S.C. 1801 et seq. ), as amended by section 3 of this Act, is further amended by striking the items relating to title VII and section 701 and inserting the following new items: TITLE VII—ADDITIONAL PROVISIONS 701. Warrant requirement. .
