Section 302(e) of the Federal Election Campaign Act of 1971 ( 2 U.S.C. 432(e) ) is amended by adding at the end the following new paragraph: No authorized committee of a candidate may establish a joint fundraising committee with a political committee other than an authorized committee of a candidate. . The amendments made by this section shall take effect on January 1, 2014.
