Section 1112(b)(1)(P) ( 20 U.S.C. 6312(b)(1)(P) ) is amended to read as follows: a description of the strategy the local educational agency will use to implement and assess family engagement in education under section 1118; . Section 1112(b)(1) ( 20 U.S.C. 6312(b)(1) ) is amended— by redesignating subparagraph
(Q)as subparagraph (S); and by inserting after subparagraph
(P)the following: a description of how the local educational agency will engage families in the development, implementation, and assessment of local educational agency plans; a description of how the local education agency will improve teacher and principal knowledge and skills in effectively engaging parents in their children’s education; and .
