Section 11 of the Food and Nutrition Act of 2008 ( 7 U.S.C. 2020 ) is amended by striking subsection
(p)and inserting the following: In carrying out the supplemental nutrition assistance program, a State agency shall be required to use an immigration status verification system established under section 1137 of the Social Security Act ( 42 U.S.C. 1320b–7 ), and an income and eligibility verification system, in accordance with standards set by the Secretary. .
