Section 11(p) of the Food and Nutrition Act of 2008 ( 7 U.S.C. 2020(p) ) is amended to read as follows: In carrying out the supplemental nutrition assistance program, a State agency shall be required to use an income and eligibility, or an immigration status, verification system established under section 1137 of the Social Security Act ( 42 U.S.C. 1320b–7 ), in accordance with standards set by the Secretary. .
