Section 412(a)(1) of the Food for Peace Act ( 7 U.S.C. 1736f(a)(1) ) is amended by striking for fiscal year 2008 and each fiscal year thereafter, $2,500,000,000 and inserting $2,500,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2008 through 2013 and $2,000,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2014 through 2018 . Paragraph
(1)of section 412(e) of the Food for Peace Act ( 7 U.S.C. 1736f(e) ) is amended to read as follows: For each of fiscal years 2014 through 2018, of the amounts made available to carry out emergency and nonemergency food assistance programs under title II, not less than $400,000,000 shall be expended for nonemergency food assistance programs under such title. .
