Section 923(g)(6) of title 18, United States Code, is amended— by inserting
(A)after
(6); and by adding after and below the end the following: Each person who owns or possesses a firearm shall report the theft or loss of the firearm, within 48 hours after the theft or loss is discovered, to the appropriate local authorities. .
