Not later than one year after the date of the enactment of this Act and annually thereafter, the Secretary of Health and Human Services, in coordination with the Attorney General shall submit to the Committee on Education and Labor of the House of Representatives and the Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions of the Senate, a report on the activities carried out by the Assistant Secretary and the Attorney General under this Act, including— a summary of findings from on-going reviews conducted by the Assistant Secretary pursuant to section 3(b)(1), including a description of the number and types of covered programs investigated by the Assistant Secretary pursuant to such section; a description of types of violations of health and safety standards found by the Assistant Secretary and any penalties assessed; a summary of State progress in meeting the requirements of this Act, including the requirements under section 114 of the Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Act, as added by section 7 of this Act; a summary of the Secretary’s oversight activities and findings conducted pursuant to subsection
(d)of such section 114; and a description of the activities undertaken by the national toll-free telephone hotline established pursuant to section 3(c)(2).
