Sec. 522. Compliance requirements for organizational climate assessments

The Secretary of Defense shall direct the Secretaries of the military departments to verify and track the compliance of commanding officers in conducting organizational climate assessments required as part of the comprehensive policy for the Department of Defense sexual assault prevention and response program pursuant to section 572(a)(3) of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2013 ( Public Law 112–239 ; 126 Stat. 1753). No later than 90 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Secretary of Defense shall submit to the Committees on Armed Services of the Senate and House of Representatives a report containing— a description of the progress of the development of the system that will verify and track the compliance of commanding officers in conducting organizational climate assessments; and an estimate of when the system will be completed and implemented.
