Section 4506 of the Atomic Energy Defense Act ( 50 U.S.C. 2657 ) is amended to read as follows: Not later than September 30 of each year, the Administrator shall submit to the Secretary of Energy and to the congressional defense committees— a report detailing the status of the security of the nuclear security enterprise, including the status of the security of special nuclear material, nuclear weapons, and classified information at each nuclear weapons production facility and national security laboratory; and written certification that the special nuclear material, nuclear weapons, and classified information in the custody of the Administration are secure. .
The table of contents at the beginning of such Act is amended by striking the item relating to section 4506 and inserting the following new item: Sec. 4506. Annual report and certification on status of the security of the nuclear security enterprise. .
