Section 1217(f) of the Ike Skelton National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2011 ( Public Law 111–383 ; 124 Stat. 4393), as most recently amended by section 1219 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2013 ( Public Law 112–239 ; 126 Stat. 1991), is further amended— in paragraph (1), by adding at the end the following new subparagraph: Up to $279,000,000 made available to the Department of Defense for operation and maintenance for fiscal year 2014. ; in paragraph (2)— in the matter preceding subparagraph (A)— by striking fiscal year 2011 and inserting fiscal year 2013 ; and by inserting , or phase of a project, after each project ; by redesignating subparagraph
(C)as subparagraph (D); and by inserting after subparagraph
(B)the following new subparagraph: An assessment of the capability of the Afghan National Security Forces
(ANSF)to provide security for such project after January 1, 2015, including ANSF force levels required to secure the project. Such assessment should include the estimated costs of providing security and whether or not the Government of Afghanistan is committed to providing such security. ; and in paragraph (3), by adding at the end the following new subparagraph: In the case of funds for fiscal year 2014, until September 30, 2015. .
