Paragraph
(1)of section 2192a(b) of title 10, United States Code, is amended— by striking subparagraph (A); and by redesignating subparagraphs
(B)and
(C)as subparagraphs
(A)and (B), respectively. Paragraph
(2)of such section is amended by striking the amount determined and all that follows through room and board and inserting an amount determined by the Secretary of Defense . Such section is further amended by adding at the end the following new paragraph: For the purposes of paragraph (1), a scholarship or fellowship awarded to a person who is not a citizen of the United States may only be awarded with the concurrence of the Secretary of State. .
