Notwithstanding the time limitations specified in section 3144 of title 10, United States Code, or any other time limitation with respect to the awarding of certain medals to persons who served in the Armed Forces, the Secretary of the Army is authorized and requested to award the Distinguished-Service Cross under section 3742 of such title to Sergeant First Class Robert F. Keiser for the acts of valor referred to in subsection
(b)during the Korean War. The acts of valor referred to in subsection
(a)are the actions of Robert F. Keiser’s on November 30, 1950, as a member of the 2d Military Police Company, 2d Infantry Division, United States Army, during the Division’s successful withdrawal from the Kunuri-Sunchon Pass.
