The Mutual Educational and Cultural Exchange Act of 1961 (commonly known as the Fulbright-Hays Act ) is amended— in section 102(b)(3) ( 22 U.S.C. 2452(b)(3) ), by inserting , hospital centers for medical education and research, and other after operation of schools ; and in section 112(a)(5) ( 22 U.S.C. 2460(a)(5) ) to read as follows: the American Schools and Hospitals Abroad Program which provides financial assistance to the operations of American-sponsored schools, hospital centers for medical education and research, and other institutions of learning abroad; .
