The purposes of this title are as follows: To provide the Secretary of Agriculture and the Secretary of the Interior with the tools necessary to reduce the potential for wildfires. To expedite wildfire prevention projects to reduce the chances of wildfire on certain high-risk Federal lands. To protect communities and forest habitat from uncharacteristic wildfires. To enhance aquatic conditions and terrestrial wildlife habitat. To restore diverse and resilient landscapes through improved forest conditions.
