The Secretary of Homeland Security shall increase the number of United States Border Patrol agents by— 2,500 in fiscal year 2014; 2,750 in fiscal year 2015; 3,000 in fiscal year 2016; 3,250 in fiscal year 2017; and 3,500 in fiscal year 2018.
