In accordance with section 4(d)(7) of the Wilderness Act ( 16 U.S.C. 1133(d)(7) ), nothing in this title shall be construed as affecting the jurisdiction or responsibilities of the several States with respect to the wildlife and fish on National Forest System land and public land designated as wilderness by this title. In accordance with section 4(b) of the Wilderness Act ( 16 U.S.C. 1133(b) ), all wildlife management activities conducted on land designated as wilderness by this title shall be conducted in a manner so as to preserve the wilderness character of the area, and all such activities shall further be conducted in accordance with section 4(c) of such Act ( 16 U.S.C. 1133(c) ).
