5-113.01. Racing regulation fund; exemption

The racing regulation fund is established. All revenues derived from permittees, permits and licenses pursuant to this article and any grants or donations received by the department shall be deposited, pursuant to sections 35-146 and 35-147, in the racing regulation fund. The department shall administer the racing regulation fund. Monies in the racing regulation fund are subject to legislative appropriation and are to be used by the department to support the mission of the department. The racing regulation fund is exempt from the provisions of section 35-190 relating to lapsing of appropriations.
