Trails established under AS 41.21.864
(a)may be used for more than one type of transportation, motorized or nonmotorized, as considered appropriate by the commissioner. Except along highways within the jurisdiction of the Department of Transportation and Public Facilities, the department shall provide a uniform system of marking trails and footpaths.
