Sec. 41.21.616. Regulations.
The department shall consult with the Department of Fish and Game, the United States Fish and Wildlife Service, a local governing body of a municipality, any local fish and game advisory committees, and the Alaska Chilkat Bald Eagle Preserve Advisory Council established by AS 41.21.625 before adoption of reasonable regulations governing public use and protection of the Alaska Chilkat Bald Eagle Preserve. The Department of Fish and Game shall consult with the department and the Alaska Chilkat Bald Eagle Preserve Advisory Council in proposing regulations governing fish and game management in the Alaska Chilkat Bald Eagle Preserve for adoption by the Board of Fisheries or the Board of Game.
The Department of Fish and Game and the department shall cooperate with the United States Fish and Wildlife Service in its administration of federal law governing the conservation of bald eagles.
