Sec. 39.50.110. Report of financial interests of judicial officers.
Each judicial officer as defined in AS 39.50.200
(a)shall file reports of financial and business interests required by this chapter. A judicial officer who refuses or fails to file a report when it is due forfeits and may not be paid salary, per diem, or travel expenses after the due date, until compliance, and is guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction is punishable by a fine of not less than $100 nor more than $1,000. The indicted officer may not be appointed by the governor or other authority until compliance. Upon failure or refusal to comply within 30 days of the due date, the judicial officer forfeits office and shall be removed from office.
