Sec. 23.10.069. Exemptions from paid sick leave benefit.
(a)Employment described in AS 23.10.070 , 23.10.071, AS 33.30.201 , and 33.30.191 is exempt from the requirements of AS 23.10.066 — 23.10.068.
(b)Employment described in AS 23.10.055 (a)(l) —

(10)
(18)is exempt from the requirements of AS 23.10.066 — 23.10.068. However, notwithstanding any other provisions of this chapter, employment described under AS 23.10.055 (a)(9) shall be covered by the paid sick leave requirements of AS 23.10.066 — 23.10.068.
(c)An “employee” as defined by 45 U.S.C. 35l(d) who is subject to the federal Railroad Unemployment Insurance Act, 45 U.S.C. 351 et seq. shall be exempt from the requirements of AS 23.10.066 — 23.10.068.
