Sec. 18.60.190. Effect of regulations.
(a)The regulations adopted by the Department of Labor and Workforce Development have the force and effect of law. However, the regulations applying to the construction of new boilers and unfired pressure vessels do not prevent their installation until the regulations become mandatory as provided in
(b)of this section.
(b)Amendments in the regulations are permissive immediately upon adoption and become mandatory 12 months after adoption.
