Code of Virginia § 38.2-2008. Review of rates by Commission.

The Commission may investigate and determine,
(i)upon its own motion,
(ii)at the request of any citizen of this Commonwealth, or
(iii)at the request of any insurer subject to this chapter, whether rates in this Commonwealth for the insurance to which this chapter applies are excessive, inadequate or unfairly discriminatory. In accordance with its findings, the Commission may order changes in the rates that are fair and equitable to all interested parties. In any investigation and determination, the Commission shall give due consideration to those factors specified in subsection B of § 38.2-2005 .
