53H-3-609. Degree-granting institutions that provide technical education -- Duties -- Board evaluation.
(1)A degree-granting institution described in Section 53H-3-608 :
(a)shall:
(i)fulfill the technical college duties described in Subsections 53H-3-1203(1) and
(2); and
(ii)report annually to the board on:
(A)the status of technical education in the degree-granting institution's service area; and
(B)student tuition and fees for the technical education programs provided by the degree-granting institution; and
(b)may not exercise any jurisdiction over career and technical education provided by a school district or charter school independently of the school district or charter school.
(2)The board shall monitor and evaluate the impact of degree programs on technical education provided by a degree-granting institution described in Section 53H-3-608 .
