Chap. CCCV.— An Act *for the relief of the legal representatives and sureties of James Brobson.* July 2, 1836. *Be it enacted, &c.*, That the Solicitor of the Treasury be authorized to settle the accounts of James Brobson, late marshal of the DelawareAccount to be settled, and allowance made, &c. district, and allow such credits as shall be satisfactorily proven to be due in equity and justice; and if the sum so allowed shall be equal to the debt due from said Brobson, the suit now pending against his sure-ties shall be dismissed at the cost of said sureties; but if less than the debt be allowed, whatever that sum is, shall be credited on said debt.
