That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and be is hereby, authorized and directed to pay, 2023out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, and in full settlement against the Government, the sum of $320 to Lula Lewis (colored), of Cartersville, Georgia, for allotment made to her during the World War by her son, Richard Lewis, a soldier of the United States, the checks for which allotments were received by another person without the knowledge of the said Lula Lewis and cashed by such other person, who recieved the money paid thereon.
