R. 12311](/us/bill/70/hr/12311).][[Private, No. 272](/us/pvtl/70/272).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, William J.
Tilson.Compensation for services as district judge, authorized.[R. S., sec. 1761, p. 313](/us/rs/s1751/p313). That notwithstanding the provisions of section 1761 of the Revised Statutes, as amended, William J. Tilson shall be paid the sum of $15,701.38 as compensation for services for the period from July 10, 1926, to March 17, 1928, during which time he held the office of United States district judge for the middle district of Georgia. There is authorized to be appropriated such sums as may be necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act.
