May 28, 1928.[[S. 3903](/us/bill/70/s/3903).][[Private, No. 223](/us/pvtl/70/223).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, Saint Francis de Sales Church.Bodies now interred in grounds of, to be transferred elsewhere within District of Columbia. That Michael J. Curley, Roman Catholic Archbishop of Baltimore, a corporation sole under the laws of the State of Maryland, be, and he is hereby, authorized and empowered, under such regulations as the Commissioners of the District of Columbia may prescribe, to transfer the bodies interred in the grounds of the Saint Francis de Sales Church in the District of Columbia, known as parcel 155/1, to some other suitable Further interments therein prohibited.cemetery, or cemeteries, within the District of Columbia.
Further interments in such grounds shall be prohibited from and after the Use of grounds.passage of this Act; and the proprietors thereof are authorized to use the same for any legal purposes they may deem proper, subject to such proceedings in eminent domain as may have been or shall hereafter be taken.
