That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to pay, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to Edward I.
Gallagher, administrator of the estate of Charles Gallagher, deceased, of New York, the sum of $23,387.03, being the amount found due by the Court of Claims for loss and destruction of his 1999schooner Nimrod and cargo, during the Civil War, while he was under military orders, within military lines, and executing military commands, as reported to Congress in Senate Document Numbered 56, Fifty-eighth Congress, third session, Congressional Report Numbered 10303, filed in the Senate December 5, 1904.
