R. 7268](/us/bill/70/hr/7268).][[Private, No. 198](/us/pvtl/70/198).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That in the administration John Hervey.Military record corrected.of any laws conferring rights, privileges, and benefits upon honorably discharged soldiers, John Hervey, late of Company D, Eighth Regiment Indiana Volunteer Infantry, shall hereafter be held and considered to have been honorably discharged from the military service of the United States as a member of said company and regiment on the 23d day of May, 1864: *Provided*, That no bounty, *Proviso*.No back pay, etc.pay, or allowance shall be held to nave accrued prior to the passage of this Act.
