Mex.Sum authorized for constructing road through.*Post*, p. 902. authorized an appropriation of $8,000, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the construction of that portion of the Gallup-Saint Johns highway within the Zuni Indian Reservation, New Mexico, under the direction of the Secretary of the Interior and in conformity with such rules and regulations as he may prescribe: *Provided*, That Indian labor shall be employed*Provisos.*Indian labor.Maintenance by New Mexico, etc. so far as practicable : *And provided further*, That the proper authorities of the State of New Mexico or the county of McKinley shall agree to maintain such road free of expense to the United States.
