R. 10544](/us/bill/70/hr/10544).][[Public, No. 364](/us/pl/70/364).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, From and afterLibrary of Congress.Office of administrative assistant, etc., abolished.Vol. 42, p. 715. June 10, 1928, the office of administrative assistant and disbursing officer of the Library of Congress, created by Act of Congress approved June 29, 1922, is abolished and thereafter the duties required to be performed by the administrative assistant and disbursing officer *Post*, p. 529. shall be performed, under the direction of the Librarian of Congress,Duties conferred upon Librarian. by such persons as the Librarian may appoint for those purposes: *Provided*, That the person who shall disburse the appropriations for *Proviso*.Bond for disbursements. the Library of Congress and the Botanic Garden shall give bond payable to the United States in the sum of $30,000, with sureties approved by the Secretary of the Treasury for the faithful discharge of his duties.
