R. 13752](/us/bill/70/hr/13752).][[Public, No. 873](/us/pl/70/873).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* That the Commissioners District of Columbia.Children’s tuberculosis sanatorium.Acquisition of site, and construction of, authorized.of the District of Columbia are authorized to acquire, by purchase, condemnation, or otherwise, a site, and to cause to be constructed thereon, in accordance with plans and specifications approved by such commissioners, suitable buildings and structures for use as a children’s tuberculosis sanatorium, including necessary approaches and roadways, heating and ventilating apparatus, furniture, equipment, and accessories.
Sec. 2. There is authorized to be appropriated the sum of $500,000, Sum authorized for.or so much thereof as may be necessary, to carry out the provisions of this Act, to be appropriated in like manner as other appropriations for the District of Columbia. Approved, March 1, 1929.
