Smith.March 3, 1899. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* That the military record of John H.
Smith. Granted honorable discharge. John H. Smith, late private in Company F, Twelfth Regiment Ohio Cavalry, and late private in Company B, One hundred and twenty-fourth Regiment Ohio Volunteer Infantry, be corrected, and that the Secretary of War be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to grant him an honorable discharge from the said Company B, One hundred and twenty-fourth Ohio Volunteer Infantry, as of date January sixth, eighteen hundred and sixty-three: *Provided,* That no pay, bounty, or *Proviso.* No pay, etc. other emoluments shall become due or payable by virtue of the passage of this Act.
