Granted honorable discharge. be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to remove the charge of absent without leave against Jacob Covert, late first lieutenant of Company D, Twenty-fourth Regiment of Indiana Volunteer Infantry, and grant him an honorable discharge, to date from the first day of August, eighteen hundred and sixty-two: *Provided,* That no pay, *Proviso.* No pay, etc. bounty, or other emoluments shall become due or payable by virtue of the passage of this Act.
