Granted honorable discharge. and is hereby, authorized and directed to remove the charge of desertion now standing against the record of William Britton, of Company A, Fifty-eighth Pennsylvania Volunteers, and to grant him an honorable discharge as of August fourth, eighteen hundred and sixty-four: *Provided,* That no pay, allowance, or emoluments shall become due by virtue *Proviso.* No pay, etc. of this Act subsequent to August fourth, eighteen hundred and sixty-four. Approved, March 2, 1899.
