Austin, payment to heirs of.States of America in Congress assembled*, That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed, out of any moneys in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to pay to Florine A. Albright and Missouri A. Pollard, heirs of Sterling T. Austin, deceased, the sum of fifty-nine thousand two hundred and eighty seven dollars, being the proceeds of the sale of three hundred and sixty balesFIFTY-FIFTH CONGRESS. Sess. II. Chs. 115, 117, 122, 123. 1898.1409 of cotton, the property of said Sterling T.
Austin, seized by the civil and military authorities of the United States and received into the Treasury, as found by the Court of Claims. Received by the President, March 24, 1898. [Note by the Department Of State.— The foregoing act having been presented to the President of the United States for his approval, and not having been returned by him to the house of Congress in which it originated within the time prescribed by the Constitution of the United States, has become a law without his approval.]
