CHAP. 909.— An act to establish a port of delivery at Sioux City, Iowa.September 25, 1890. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Sioux City, Iowa.Made a port of delivery in district of New Orleans. That the city of Sioux City, in the State of Iowa, shall be, and is hereby, constituted FIFTY-FIRST CONGRESS. Sess. I. Chs. 909–912. 1890.467 a port of delivery, annexed to and made a part of the collection district of New Orleans, and shall be subject to the same regulations and restrictions as other ports of delivery in the United States; and the privileges of the first and seventh sections of the act approved JuneImmediate Transportation privileges. tenth, eighteen hundred and eighty, entitled “An act to amend the statutes in relation to immediate transportation of dutiable goods,Vol, 21, pp. 173, 174. and for other purposes,” be, and the same are, extended to said port.
Sec. 2. That there shall be appointed by the President a surveyorSurveyor. of customs for said port, who shall reside at said port, and receive the same compensation now provided, or which may hereafter beCompensation. provided, by law for surveyors of the same grade.
