CHAP. 913.— An act for the relief of Stephen N. Smith.August 4, 1886. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Stephen N. Smith.Patent validated. That the patent granted to Stephen N. Smith on the thirteenth day of June, in the year eighteen hundred and eighty-two, for “improvements in machines for making lacing-hooks,” and which patent on the face thereof was granted for the term of seventeen years from the date of said patent, shall be, and the 874 FORTY-NINTH CONGRESS.
