CHAP. 39.— An act granting a pension to Almira Russell Hancock, widow of Winfield Scott Hancock, late a Major-General in the United States Army.Mar. 29, 1886. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Almira Russell Hancock.Pension. That the Secretary of the Interior be, and ho is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension-roll of the United States the name of Almira Russell Hancock, widow of Winfield Scott Hancock, late a Major-General in the United States Army, and to pay her at the rate of two thousand dollars per annum, to take effect from and after the passage of this act, and subject to all the provisions and limitations of the pension laws.
