CHAP. 228.— An act granting a pension to Anson B. Sams.May 8, 1886. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Anson B. Sams.Pension. That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, directed to place the name of Anson B. Sams, of Madison County, North Carolina, late of the Second North Carolina Mounted Infantry, on the pension-roll, subject to the limitations and restrictions of the pension laws. Received by the President, April 27, 1886. [Note by the Department of State.—The foregoing act having been presented to the President of the United States for his approval, and not having been returned by him to the house of Congress in which it originated within the time prescribed by the Constitution of the United States, has become a law without his approval.] Chapter 229: for the relief of George C.
