CHAP. 232.— An Act to pay for expert services relating to the metric system rendered the Forty-fifth Congress.June 15, 1880. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,William Wheeler Hubbell.Payment for services. That the sum of three hundred and fifty dollars be, and is hereby, appropriated, out of any moneys in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to enable the Secretary of the Treasury to pay the bills of June eighteenth and June twenty-eighth, eighteen hundred and seventy-eight, for expert services rendered by William Wheeler Hubbell to the Forty-fifth Congress, respecting the application of the system of metric weights and measures.
