CHAP. 2.— An Act changing the name of the National Bank of Commerce of Cincinnati, Ohio, to the National Lafayette and Bank of Commerce of Cincinnati, Ohio.April 29, 1879. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,National Bank of Commerce of Cincinnati, O. That the name of the National Bank of Commerce of Cincinnati, Ohio, located in the city of Cincinnati, in the county of Hamilton and State of Ohio, shall be changed to the National Lafayette and Bank of Commerce of Cincinnati, Ohio, wheneverChange of name. the board of directors of said bank shall accept the new name by resolution of the board, and cause a copy of said resolution, duly authenticated, to be filed with the Comptroller of the Currency: *Provided,* ThatProviso. such acceptance be made within nine months after the passage of this act, and that all expenses incident to such change, including engraving, shall be borne and paid by said bank.
Sec. 2. That all the debts, demands, liabilities, rights, privileges, andLiabilities, etc., to follow change. powers of the National Bank of Commerce of Cincinnati, Ohio, shall devolve upon and inure to the National Lafayette and Bank of Commerce of Cincinnati, Ohio, whenever such change of name is effected.
